Looks like a sweet piece. I?d consider getting one, but NJ doesn?t allow CCW...

I received the email as well - the capacity is cause for me to want to investigate further.

Send me an email and I will forward the announcement to you. Being on their mailing list is great when they are announcing a sale on their shop services...

To get on Sig's mailing list go to their web page and look down at the bottom right of the page. There is a little image of an envelope that says get updates, you can get on their mailing list there.

I prefer DA/SA or DAO to a striker in a carry; but it packs a lot of punch in a small package. Guess I'd have to see how the trigger is, but I personally wouldn't want a 'light striker trigger' next to the Family Jewels no matter what!! Safety or no safety. Just MHO.
But, I can see a big market for this 9mm+P capable gun.

Actually about .3in shorter in both length AND height than M+P 9mm Shield.
Somehow, they figured out how to double-stack 10+1 or 12+1 into 1.0in. width. Amazing.

At 5.8" long and 4.3"high 1.0"wide; it's Similar in size to a KAHR P9, but about 1/2" bigger L&H compared to a KAHR PM9.

Yeah I?m pretty amazed at the mag capacity. Making me rethink the Shield as carry, regardless of the trigger.

I do like the safety on the Shield... will have to think hard about that one. A new shell for the AG Cloak Tuck 3.0 would make this work.
Used to own a CZ Jawa...

So this new Sig is within .1" of my usual carry gun, a Sig 938, in all areas except for height, where it is at a .4" disadvantage, and weight where it is at a 1.7 ounce disadvantage.  That's pretty darn close to gain 67% more capacity.  If the trigger in this thing is halfway decent I may have a good condition Sig 938 in the classifieds before long. ;D

Honestly, this is the gun I wish CZ would build, based on the P10c, with a slightly heavier trigger pull.

This single gun as more buzz going on all the forums than just about anything in recent memory. I can?t wait to see one in person

DANG! It has the width of a single stack, but the capacity of a sub-compact double stack. As long as the trigger is half decent and there are no QA problems in production then this will kill the other single stack 9mm's.

Poor Springfield. They release a copy of the P238 and they are years behind. I am sure it is going to be great quality, and I am sure a P938 copy will come along. So far behind...

Look for reviews. I have already seen reports of many failures to return to battery while shooting.

Dang... This seems to happen with gen 1 launches for just about everyone. Hopefully they work through the issues and this will be viable in the next 6 to 8 months. The big relief for me is that it is NOT flawless and I don't have to sell things to buy one...
