Hi from WV
« on: January 16, 2018, 01:24:14 PM »
Howdy from WV,
I have been a Beretta owner for many years and lately been looking for something different.  My online research kept bringing me back to the CZ 75B.  My local shop got a new 75B in yesterday and I went down this morning to take a look,  I was sold as soon as I looked it over.  I put it on layaway and will pick it up this weekend.  I think this will be a shooter, thanks for having me and look forward to talking with you all.

Welcome fellow Mountaineer.
That will definitely be a shooter.
CZ's are great guns. I know you will enjoy it.

Where in WV?  I still visit my mom and brother in western Greenbrier County about once a month.  It's almost time for another trip up there.

You're right.  Lot's of good info here on CZ's.  New ones, old ones.  Stock or customized.

Little chilly up there this time of the year.  And I hate losing brass in the snow.  I was thinking, last trip, that maybe I ought to buy me some steel cased 9MM to shoot the CZ's and start taking the M&P 15 in 5.45X39 and shoot the steel cased ammo in it.  Did I mention I hate to lose brass?
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Welcome from central Ohio and congrats on the 75B acquisition.

I have both a Beretta 92A1 and CZ 75 SP-01. I really like my Beretta, but I love my CZ (i.e. the gun I will never sell).

Thanks for the warm welcome from here in snowy Raleigh Co WV.  It's a toasty 6* here this morning and looking for a high in the teens today.  I'm looking forward to shoot this CZ, I work a day a week for my buddy who owns an indoor range so Friday I should see how it does.

When I was a kid dad used to take us up to Marlinton to fish the Greenbrier River at night (jitterbugs and tiny torpedoes).  Good memories.
