David, can we get an estimated time frame of when the new trigger and short reset will be available for the P-10?

This may be a better thread to post this question.

Will this eliminate the play that has been said to cause malfunctions. I haven’t had a problem with mine but some have.

tell me why they need a new striker?

Owners on here and other forums have said they have broken their strikers after a few thousand rounds. From the CGW website:

"We have reports of the factory MIM (metal injection molded) strikers breaking off at the tip.  So we designed a “bullet proof” striker made from tool steel and heat treated to ensure a virtually unlimited life span.

Precision made, just what you would expect from CGW."

We just received another batch on 1-26.  These are tough to machine (MIM is much easier for parts like this) and we have had considerable set backs getting them right.

We finally got them "machine-able", so they are arriving in several small batches instead of one bulk shipment.

Mine it already in my P-10 and I no longer fear the tip breaking off.
