For Sale - CZ Compact, railed steel frame
« on: January 20, 2018, 10:50:40 AM »
Added Rami grips  - orange and black. They are Stoner brand and started off as non-BD version that I modded slightly so they would work on a BD. $25 shipped  - will add pics in new post.  SOLD

Up for sale is my CZ 75 Compact all steel with a rail - model number 99021. Hate to part with it but some recent purchases/future bills  ;D might make the lovely wife a bit  >:(

I bought this gun new at a local gun shop and made the following modifications.

Converted to SAO with an Armory Craft orange aluminum trigger
Cajun Gun works/Dawson EZ/D sights. FO front, larger opening rear. Rear came all black, I added white lines to help me pick them up, these can be removed as it's just white paint (originals included)
Shorter slide stop   - (original is included)
CGW Stainless guide rod
LOK Bogie black and white grips
CGW parts:
Extended firing pin
Reduced power trigger return spring
Floating trigger pin
Race hammer
Adjustable sear and spacer
11.5# hammer spring

All internals were polished before gun was put back together  and resulted in an amzaingly smooth and crisp trigger. A sample of 5 pulls on my Wheeler gauge  averaged 2 lb 7.5 oz with the 11.5# hammer spring.  I was able to use a 8.5# hammer spring but had some light strikes on cheap ammo so swapped the 11.5# back in with no issues since.

The original internals will be included with the gun if you wanted to change it back over to SA/DA, the only thing you would need is a trigger as I no longer have it.

Total of 875 rounds through the gun, roughly half of which were after the SAO conversion. (Thanks to Scarlett Pistol for the videos, if you haven't watched his tutorials he does a great job of making it easy to handle these conversions on your own!)

Feel free to email me with any questions. I'll use my FFL to ship to your FFL

$975 plus shipping, will be glad to meet you in West TN if you are local to this area.

Pics coming....

Also have a compact CGW steel guide rod for sale. This one was installed in my P-01 and used for 200 or so rounds and then I went back to the plastic one. $18 shipped. Can send pics SOLD

Another item - left hand Tactical Sport safety. Brand new in package from CGW, planned on installing on above compact but just never got around to it. $25 shipped.

Sorry to hear about the bills why didn’t you keep the original trigger? Do you have the original sights? Also, you did all these modifications yourself, correct? If so, does that include the sight installation?

The bills are all gun purchases so no reason to feel bad  ;D

I didn't keep the original trigger because a buddy of mine wanted it.

Original sights are included

I did all the installation, including the sights.  The above mentioned buddy did the polishing (as he has done on all the CZs I've modded)

This is quite a premium price you are asking. So I must ask, how much experience do you have with modifying firearm internals like this SA conversion? Also, was there some sort of a problem with getting the front sight roll pin in? Or is that just the picture angle?

So I'll address your comments/questions in order.

1. I guess if you think a $200 loss is a "premium" then yes, I'm asking quite the price.

2. If you include this one, then .... one. But I'm A+ at watching Youtube videos.

3. The front roll pin was a booger to get in. There are a couple of very minor marks on the edge around the roll pin. This was the second front sight I installed on this gun since I didn't like the POA/POI impact the first one gave me. No issues the first time around so I can only guess the channel on the this sight was slightly more shallow.  Took some closer pics to capture the best I could and will post those in a min. To me no biggie, if you are looking for a safe queen probably would bother you.

Now if you have specific questions about the gun or how it operates I'll be glad to answer those.

If  you want to make an offer post or PM me.

If you just want to make general comments on my asking price or competence in installing parts, move along.

Thanks.  I’m sorry, just politely inquiring on the history of the item for sale. I have a lot of cash rn and can’t stop shipping. As far as how much you expect to lose, well the market will determine that.
