I also shot 20 RDS at targets to get the feel for the loads.
The 4.0 load shot soft and smooth out of my very dirty 75 Shadow. "I" was shooting a little low with this load.
The 4.1 load shot smoothly and a little more on target. I did my shotgun hull at 27 yards test from a rest on my gun bag. I bounced the same hull 3 time in 4 shots.😀🙌. Hitting the berm within an inch below or sometimes beside the hull will move it. Two of these hits popped it firmly. One was too low. One was close
Maybe because I was expecting it to shoot a little softer than my jacketted loads, that's how both loads "felt". The 4.0 gr loads definitely " felt" softer.
After the Gallant tests, I went back to my 124 PD jhp loads, and they DID feel a little snappier at 1060-65 fps.
FWIW. These were my first guess loads shooting coated lead for the first time..
