Brace 1 or Brace 2, if it's 2, does anyone have a cheap M4 stock adapter (whole thingy) for sale?

Brace 1

Brace 2

I actually like #1 much better. Can you get proper cheek weld with it though?

With the modified (taking out some of the innards and putting it in reverse) magpul AK cheek riser, yes.

My 805 EDC-PDW with an SBT folder...  cheek weld was do-able but lower than I liked, so had to resort to some DIY mod work...

The removable riser in the photos is the one that came with my SOCOM 16 CQB (stock on that rifle made by Archangel)...  I've never used it on that weapon and thought about using it on my 805 after running it with the SBT...  the brace wasn't a terrible weld (more chin than cheek) but was lower than I prefer...  adding the extra height of the riser made it just right for me (BUIS &/or the 516)...  I did need to use a heat gun to soften the two sides of the riser and squeeze them in a tad for a nice tight fit...  not the sexiest looking mod but I was after functionality and this did the trick...

Is it even legal to add something to a pistol brace? I thought modifying a brace with anything would constitute it as a stock.  Of course if it is already registered as a sbr you can put whatever you want but is yours still a pistol?

#1 looks the best.
