Shotgun fitting
« on: February 06, 2018, 08:52:31 PM »
So this past Dec I bought a SKB/ Ithaca 280, 20 ga SxS. Nice gun, but was a little short length of pull for me.

I used a slip on pad, found I shot poorly.

Decided to get The LOP corrected. Sure enough, my performance on the skeet field improved dramatically. Still pattering a little low and left, so my stock maker made some minor adjustments today.

Will pattern it again tomorrow & try a round of skeet if the weather holds.  So far, am impressed what a quality stock maker can do and am enjoying the process thus far.
Like a midget at a urinal, I'll have to keep on my toes
