Another quick 100 down the pipe
« on: February 12, 2018, 03:20:59 PM »
Dropped by the range today to do some holster drills with the P-10C at 25 yards. It was obvious that it had been a while...but the pistol worked flawlessly as always.

That's my own home cast, powder coated reload in the magazine, for the sharp eyed. 8)

I just put another 100 round through my P10 as well with no issues. That's 500 total. Another 500 rounds and it will be ready to carry.

The more I shoot the P10, the more I like it.

Best regards.

Glad to hear thing are going well with your P-10. Mine is performing equally as well. Gotta love it!

Just got mine Saturday. Black with night sights. Put right at 300 fmj through yesterday. Ran flawlessly. Trigger is smoother, slide release is lightening up but mag release needs a little more wear in. It's quite accurate.

Are you still running yours stock? I'm still on the fence on changing the stock sights to night sights. I am shooting so well with the stock sights I hesitate to change them. Besides my P320 X-Carry has factory night sights as will my P365 when I actually get it. Its on order but is being delayed because Sig is changing from SigLite night sites on the P356 to X-Ray3 night sights which will be the same sights as my P320 X- Carry. All three will be in my EDC rotation.

I have a set of night sights sitting in the drawer, but haven't put them in - no vise. So it might wait until I have enough blood plasma sold to send it to CGW. :) I'll ask if they can install those, too.
Other than that - bone stock as is, right out of the box. Well, sort of - I DID sand down some of the checkering fore and aft. Not much, just enough to stop the cheese grater effect. :)

Looks like Cajun Gun Works will have their trigger by the end of the month. You might have to sell a lot of blood plasma to get the full package.

I am holding my breath for the CGW trigger. I can live with the factory trigger, but I think I would enjoy shooting my P10 with a wider, metal trigger. The trigger and the steel striker will probably be the only mods I make to my FDE P10.

Best regards.

Those are the two best upgrades I have made so far. You won't be sorry.

Shot another 100 rounds yesterday with no issues. Trigger is simply amazing breaking clean at 3 pounds 12 ounces making my P-10 an absolute pleasure to shoot. This was my first trip to the range with my Gray Guns super black stainless guide rod and 15 pound spring installed and my P-10 performed flawlessly. The only issue I ever had with my P-10 was the tip of the striker breaking off which was immediately replaced by CZ and they replaced by me again with the CGW tool steel striker. I have the utmost confidence in my P-10 and I carry it ever day.

I just got back to the office from bullseye practice followed by 40 rounds through the P-07 and P-10C at 25 yards, two-handed standing.  I love the 4" guns!!  Both of them.

I want to know the minute you pull the trigger on that purchase and when you have it done how much you like it. Ain't going to be cheap.

I'm in line for some CGW work on mine as well.  Slide milled for Burris FF3, all the new CGW parts that are available.  But they have to leave my Sugru alone.
