Question: Anyway to find out when a particular firearm was originally imported into the US?  Thx for any replies...curious as to when my cz70 was imported. Date of manufacture was '72

The only thing I can think to do is look up the company whose import mark is stamped on the gun.

Contact them with the serial number and ask them if they can tell you.

If they are no longer in business, the date of import would most likely be somewhere between 1972 and the date that the company went out of business.
