PCR - Right out of the box
« on: February 27, 2018, 09:21:26 PM »
My PCR came in last night. I put 20 rounds through it at 7 yards. One flier.

It shoots high for me. (I was aiming at the '0') I'll be sending it to Cajun for work, including a red dot (Leupold Delta Point Pro). Absolutely LOVING it so far!

Had the same experience first time I shot a PCR. Maybe minus the flyer ;-) One hell of a pistol! Congrats, enjoy and be safe!

Yep, my PCR is a very accurate firearm. My only EDC since I bought it. Traded my previous EDC, a Glock 19 for a full size 75BD and haven't looked back.

I'm getting their Pro Package trigger, etc. job. Also having a Leupold Delta Pro installed. Also think I'm going to get the bushing. I'm one of the weird guys who doesn't collect pistols. I just want one REAL nice one.

Im really new to CZ's.  Picked up an SP01 recently the immediately after I shot it for the first time, I hunted down and grabbed a PCR - hard to find little sucker - to replace my EDC.  Looking and sending them both CGW at some point.  What is the benefit of adding the bushing?

The bushing makes it even more accurate, b/c it allows for less play in the barrel. Certainly not necessary for EDC, but I am one of those weird guys who only has/keeps one pistol. So, I want it to be REALLY nice.

IDK for a carry gun its pretty awesome as it is (although my RAMI gets more love in this role.  Maybe all it needs is a tad lighter mainspring to help DA pull and hardened firing pin retaining pin to replace the roll pin.

I recommend getting a second CZ, perhaps a full size 75B or SP01 and doing your described mods to it for the ultimate fun at the range.  A heavier gun will be even more steady contributing to accuracy.

It is a free country, however.  You can see your intended mods on my post in the 85B section with pictures if desired.  I'll likely get a chance to send some lead down range this weekend before I report back to CGW.

I said for years that the PCR was the perfect CCW pistol. Great little pistolas.

It is just as close to 'full size' as a G19 or P229, but it feels SO much smaller. I love it.
