New RAMI Mags
« on: March 04, 2018, 09:25:01 AM »
Just picked up a new RAMI BD this week. I owned one for a short time about three years ago and it seems like the supplied magazines on the new one (C-series) are cheaper than than I recall on my B-series RAMI. Could it be the hard plastic pinky perch on the bottom of the 10 round mag just giving me that impression or have real changes been made? Does anyone have the part number handy for the nice rubber pinky grip to replace the hard plastic item? Tks

I?ve never seen a rubber base pad on the Rami. Only the hard plastic one.

My 2014 RAMI has what I would call a hard plastic base on the 10 round magazine.  I have embraced the two finger grip for that gun but there are those that have modified a Pearce grip extension, model PGXD.  The mod entails gradually sanding the top lip of the extension with relatively fine sand paper until a magazine fitted with the extension will consistently engage the magazine catch and function 100%.  I tried the mod on one of the Pearce extensions and got it to fit and function, but at the end of the day just preferred the two finger grip with the pinky finger curled under the base of the magazine.  I have extra large hands so that may contribute to my preference.
