Shooting the cz's at the farm.
« on: March 05, 2018, 04:12:49 PM »
I went to a friend's farm this past weekend. He has a small covered range setup about 25 yds from his barn. There were 8 other friends there. Most were shooting 1911's, glock's and one sig. I brought my  stainless 75b,  40 s&w 75b and my desert eagle 50 ae. Everyone shot the cz's and they were far more accurate than what they had brought. The 75's even out shot one guy's souped up 1911. I think I might have converted most to cz. Two people were "brave " enough to shoot the de. It's not bad, but you have to hold onto it pretty good. After the shooting was over and all the bass was picked up, had a friend come up to me and asked  " why in the world would you have a 50?"  I told him a 51 would require a tax stamp. He shook his head and laughed. Was a great day for shooting and a great day for the cz's.

Always fun to do some shooting in a relaxed environment.

Also great to do it with your buddies.

Funny thing about those CZ's.  When people shoot them they suddenly get interested in them.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Shooting out doors with a good mix of pistols is always a good time.
I brought my PO-1 with a Kadet on it to such a gathering last fall, the PO-1 was a hit.
They could not believe how accurate it was.

Sweet! I fired a 44Mag DE years and years ago - had the worst muzzle blast ever. If you weren't in a narrow cone right behind it, it thumped you.

Other than my cz's, the desert eagle is my favorite pistol to shoot. Hard to do double taps, but why do you need to. Lol

Nice!
Definitely interesting to plink away from the RSO's hawkeye. Here in Canada, shooting handguns (or ARs/vz58s/CZ858s/Tavors) anywhere else than the gun club is forbidden practice. I envy you!

I recently bought a 75b in 40 cal and converted it to SAO. I love it.the DE is awesome too. I wish I could own one. I shot one once when on vacation. That was fun! I do like shooting outdoors. My local gun club is outside.
