CZ P10C magazine issue
« on: March 19, 2018, 03:38:12 PM »
So I have run into an issue with my magazines for the P10c

If I pull the slide back slightly (to check to be sure a round is chambered for example) with a fully loaded mag inserted, the magazine becomes very difficult to eject. It does eject with enough force on the ejector, but when it does come out a loose round also comes with it. Obviously, it is bringing the next round forward enough so that it is no longer secured in the magazine. This is not an issue with 14 in the mag.

Anyway, what, if anything, should I do? Otherwise, I love my P10.

My first p10 did that, it is the leading edge of the bump out in the slide. I polished the leading face to make the slide release  buttery smooth. While I was doing that I broke the hard  edge on the angle and polished up a bit of the underside.

No affect to function but it lets the slide move smother over the round, until it passes on rear travel.

This is a common issue with many semi auto pistols and really it's not an issue at all.
