CZ 99041
« on: April 14, 2018, 09:28:57 PM »
Hey guys,

Looking for some suggestions or opinions.

I purchased two CZ?s
SP-01 alloy frame compact rail and 99041 steel frame compact rail.

I want an SP 01 Shadow full size.

Should i trade 99041 which is brand new for a sp 01 shadow full size which is used, but in like brand new condition.
If yes, help me to determine value.

Thanks

Hmmm I would definitely keep the sp01 compact and trade the steel frame...they are fairly close in size but with the compact being alloy it?s just a better carry/ all around option especially when it comes to weight. As far as cost goes? I would imagine you spent around 500 on the steel frame? I bet you could get 425 to 475 for it? Primarily because it?s hard to find in a lot of markets. I think it?s just hard to sell any stock gun with GunBroker and other sites like it out there

Unfortunately i paid $629 for 99041, not sure if i want to sell it for $475.
Might as well keep it.

Home equity loan or sell something of the wife's.  Sell a CZ!??!

Seriously, are you even carrying the alloy frame?  If not, sell it later, if you must for ypur next CZ after you pick up the shadow.  Trade cash.

Looks like you never shot that 99041. If you did, I doubt that you would even contemplate the idea of trading it.
Beside the fact that there is only 50 of them in this country (don't listen to guys who tells you otherwise). Not only that there is only 50 of them, but not long ago someone from Czech Republic posted that 99041 was originally ordered for military of one Asian country and few leftovers were sold in Czech Republic and 50 were sent here.
Long story short - I will never part with my 99041. Yes it's little heavier, but it's also balanced so well, when shooting it puts my favorite gun (PCR) to shame.
I hope you keep yours.

it would be dumb to sell it for $475 considering there is one right now on GB with 9 bids sitting at $629 already with 4 days left

another 99041 just sold on gb for $640 two weeks ago

I'm glad I own two that were $549 ea...

If it's capacity you are after, run your 99041 with standard 16 round mags using SP01 base plates.  Gives you 16+1 rounds in a form that is beautifully blended.  Mine is a 99021, not 41 but is identical other than the roll marks.  What they are saying above is true.  These are some of the best shooting pistols out there.

If you want to part with it I will offer you $425.00 and pay shipping fees.  However as most have said you are better off keeping it!
