CZ-27 Barrel Question
« on: May 17, 2018, 12:53:00 AM »
I've recently purchased a beautiful CZ-27 (SN 23488). Having recently suppressed a Colt 1903 in .32 using a threaded barrel from In Lead We Trust and a 9mm suppressor I made at AAC for Walther P5, I'm wanting to run my new CZ with the same suppressor. I'm hesitant to have the existing barrel modified, as this CZ-27 is in beautiful shape and all matching. My plan is to purchase a spare barrel and have it extended and threaded for my suppressor. My CZ features a barrel with a slender protrusion above the chamber that extends back about 1/4". The spare barrels I'm looking at do not have this protrusion. Can I safely run a non-protrusion barrel in my 27?

BTW, .32 Auto fired through a 9mm suppressor sounds incredible! Like a suppressed .22.

I appreciate the insights,

Mike Smith/AAC

More than likely, you're going to have to have  ILWT fabricate a barrel for your project... Use your existing barrel for a pattern, and add the extender as shown in the photos of OEM models...
Post when you are done,,,,great project, and barrel switches are a breeze...no worries about bubba'ing up your nice 27...

BTW...if you have the barrel done..I'd like to know what the $ is for such a project...I've got a '27 also...
