LOK Grips...good?
« on: June 08, 2018, 05:57:29 PM »

I ordered the following grips.  Reviews seem ok.  Anyone have them?

http://lokgrips.com/gun-grips/cz-75/thin/bogies/cz-75-thin-bogies-blue-black-g10/

Feedback is appreciated.

Thanks,

They are SUPER aggressive.....

i use the same ones for competition... if for range/home defense fine too, for concealed carry? you may want to contact Jason about a better option...

I have a blue/black pair of Thin LOK Bogie grips on a CZ Custom Shadow.

I have an orange/black pair of Thin LOK Bogie grips on my other CZ Custom Shadow.

I have a green/black pair of Thin LOK Bogie grips on my Cajun Gun Works SP-01,

And I have a pair of solid bright orange Thin LOK Matrix LOK grips on my CZ Custom Pro-Tek 1.

They are all awesome.  Perfect fit and excellent workmanship.

Jason is terrific to work with and I highly recommend his LOK grips.

Thank you for the replies.  I emailed him about changing my order.  I should have asked the audience prior to my order.

Typical of me,

Thanks again, guys.

I have the bogie thins

I love em so far, but I run an aggressive grip on all my guns.

For IWB I make sure to run a holster that has an inner leather backing to protect my skin from the grip, much like the Cross breed style

If you do a search for LOK grips a lot of threads/ posts discuss and show pics of  the options available.
I stopped needing grip tape ony Shadow grips when I tried the LOK Bogies.
They come with or without a palm swell.  I tried both and stayed with the thin..no palm swell..option due to my small hands.

1sow.  Do you find that grip too aggressive for an ECD weapon?

Don?t worry, they?re too aggressive.... for edc the edges are sharp and would irritate skin or catch clothing.

I have the Lok Mayhem grips and absolutely love them. They provide excellent grip for me and I've not had them catch on clothing or chafe skin (so far).

The Bogies are very aggressive, and perfect for competition shooting.

Ask Jason about his new LOK "Matrix" grips for an EDC pistol.

I have a set of solid orange ones on my CZC Pro-Tek 1.

I got in touch with him.  I switched my order to the thin checkered.  Should get them later this week.

I have Thin Bogies on my 97B and for me the jury is still out. For the primary purpose of making the big grip on the 97 more manageable, mission accomplished. But the aggressive texture of the Bogies makes prolonged range sessions uncomfortable. So 6 out of 10 for me.

Hit the gripes with some 320 sandpaper to customize the texture the way you like them.

If you have soft hands, the Bogie style grips may be a bit too aggressive.

I have the standard Bogie grips on my SP-01 and find them perfect for my IDPA and nightstand HD needs.
