Hello all. I just picked up a CZ PCR today. I was a little surprised to see the magazines labeled both 9 and 40 and showed a capacity of 15 rounds for 9mm and base pads. I had only seen flat base magazines and 14 rounds listed on the CZ website.
Haven?t had a chance to clean up the gun yet or shoot it. But surprised at how light it is compared to how sturdy it looks. Feels great in the hand

Congrats!
I couldn't refrain from buying a couple of the 15 rounders when they came out despite the price. I like them. They complement my selection of previously standard 14 rounders and nicely priced MecGar 16 rounders with the SP01 base plates.

As long as they work, I?m fine with 15 rounds. Unless things changed with the new common core math, I think 15 is more than 14. So that?s good. Same as my Glock 19.
I just prefer the look of a gun with a flush fit magazine. I?ll probably pick up a flush 14 round mag or two.

Flush at the bottom, but not at the front of the handle. Some find that thin protrusion of the standard base plate annoying; digging into the pinky finger.

I got my PCR about 3 weeks ago and a tip for you be prepared to spend a lot of money for ammo, I wanna just keep shooting I really this pistol think I'm at 700 rounds without one issue. 8)

Those are the new CZ factory mags. They ship with guns made in '18. I got a few from Greg Cote a couple of months ago.

Luckily I can sneak a few rounds in at our range while I?m teaching. And I reload. So I have s small stock pile.
Need to plan on spending money on things such as sights, holsters, and thinking I?m going to pick up the CGW spring kit for it for the hammer spring and firing pin, etc

Ordered in some new springs today to do some tinkering next weekend. Haven?t been able to shoot it. But it feels great in the hand. Dare I say, better than a 1911

And thus 16 rounds is greater than 15
Just an FYI, but if you already have a bunch plain Jane full size 16 round CZ75 mags sitting around, you can add the standard SP-01 base pads to get a flush fitting 16 round mag in a P01/PCR that isn't much larger than the standard rubber base pads.

I got my spring kit in today. I have to work tomorrow, but taking Friday off so hoping to be able to install it then.
Put 60 rounds of 147gr HST through it today without a hiccup. Shot a little high, but that is probably my placement of the sights. Nothing fancy today, just checking feel and function of the gun. Going to run few hundred rounds through it next week after putting the kit in to check function.
Wish me luck.

Is that the Beretta 92 baseplate? I've been wanting to change out the flat baseplate to the P-01 style but those look like the have an angled under cut to aid the mag extraction.

They?re the 15 round magazines that came with the gun. I believe CZ stock number 11123

I have the Beretta baseplate on my PCR. Tonight I'll take a pic and send it to you.

Like the look of the new mag, but why would I want to make my compact carry gun bigger? Not for 1 round, that's why I carry a spare mag. I'll stick with my stock metal plate. I want my compact "compact". Same reason I installed a flush fit main spring plug and deleted the lanyard loop.

I agree. But these are the mags they sent. I?ll be looking to order a flat base mag or two
