Anyone tried iTarget Pro laser trainer?
« on: April 04, 2018, 03:49:38 AM »
It's less than $100 and seems like a good way to make dry fire more interesting. Anyone tried it on their 75B or SP-01s?

I have. It works great for dry fire practice. Plan on getting the QuickDraw app add-on.

I built my own stand.

When I get home I'll do some measuring.

The board the target is on is 8-3/4" X 15".
The distance from the target to the phone is 13-1/4" and that is about as close as you want the phone.
it's about 4-1/8" wide where the phone sits.

Here are a few pics to show how it's put together.

The black piece that sandwitches the phone is an old mouse pad I cut up and glued on.

There is a slot where the phone sits to let the cord go thru incase you need to charge.

folds down for easy storage

I agree, that phone/target stand is very well done.

As it turns out, iTargetPro is based out southern California. So my order arrived in only 2 days.  Just set it up and tried it out on 2 CZ 9mm pistols.  It works like a charm.  Laser ammo cartridge seated in perfectly into chamber. Once done, lightly tap with a pencil and the cartridge comes right out.   The sled target holder is made from plastic. It's sturdy, but a little rough around edges.   Let's see how durable the laser ammo cartridge will be.

Has anyone tried this with a LaserLyte laser trainer?  I already have the 9mm cartridge so ~$50 for the stand/target would save a few bucks, but then again getting a laser trainer for $40 might be worth it to just buy the kit...

I have it and use it pretty much everyday. It is $69.00 for the laser bullet. It is only an extra $20.00 for its own sled that it sits in. ($10.00 for shipping) I have both apps that are available. Works like a charm.

Any laser cartridge will work.
Mine is a SureStrike from Laser Ammo.
