Select fire receiver covers?
« on: May 27, 2018, 10:22:06 PM »
Yeah, a crazy first post.
I am hoping to turn my CZ Scorpion into an SBR soon.  In addition to that, I am hoping to get one of the soon to be released Franklin Armory binary triggers for it.
If it works in the way they have in the past, the safety selector will go past the single fire selector to activate the binary mode.  Now, you can buy replacement covers for the EVO, but they have the boring old semi-auto markings on them.  I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to change them out with the receiver covers from the select fire model?

Interesting. Are the pictographs equally spaced on the a1? Might be a project for the laser engraver provided the trigger isn't $500+

Is that a mag adapter?

I would think one would want a binary trigger to be, let?s say....under the radar. I would not advertise the fact that I had a binary trigger installed due to the current political climate. I like to take a ?grey man? approach to firearms, don?t advertise what you got, stay under the radar, and never wear 5.11 cargo pants. In fact, I received my replacement trigger housing with the non world compliant trigger that I will drop the FA binary trigger in so I can swap out as desired. I definitely won?t be using their silly sticker and would avoid marking my receiver indicating a binary trigger.  I would hate to think that binary triggers would go the way of the bump stock.

It's for my benefit.  I won't be shoving it in everyone's face.  If the binary triggers become illegal and aren't grandfathered in then I will turn it in since I prefer not breaking the law.

Thing is they do not apply to us dirty gun owners.

The 5th amendment and even the 14th amendment touches on it being unlawful for government to take your property without being justly compensated at bare minimum and provides protections against such.

Once they trample all over one, skirting around a few more is trivial business.

What I could only hope to end up with (it's photoshopped).  I'll post my hack job with a dremel later :)
